Have your say!

Everyone has rights! Your rights as a child or young person are written in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

This means that you have a right to:

  • Have your voice heard and be treated with respect
  • Be treated fairly at all times
  • Be able to go to school and receive a good education
  • Receive good health care
  • To practice your religion culture and use your own language
  • Be able to complain and have an advocate or legal representation
  • Be involved in all decision making
  • To be safe and protected from abuse
  • To have full integration and participation in society
